Do you bite your fingernails?

I do and I can't seem to stop.Do you bite your fingernails?
I only do it when my wife is in the same room so it annoys her. And if I really want to get to her, I pick my toenails and dry feet skin.Do you bite your fingernails?
Well yes. It's easier than using nail clippers.

best wishes.
no
No, but LeBron James can't seem to stop either, and he seems to be just fine.
YEA! especially when im bored or cant stop...=( but i tried putting dat icky stuff you get from drugstores so you wont bite but that didnt work...howevr everytime i want to bite my nails i either put it in my pockets or behind my back...hope that helps!
i only bite my nails when im extemely bored. before i got my braces i always bit my nails and then once i got em i stopped. then after i got em off i started again.
i used to have my fingers in my mouth all the time... then i quit my stressful job and started taking vitamins... all the sudden i started to calm myself and the vitamins (one/day) made my nails really strong and healthy and i stopped biting them!!!

i was soooo addicted to it, too.

good luck to you!

No, but i bite my girlfriends toe nails !
I used to but stopped in my late twenties over 30 years ago - can't remember how BUT

I was in a pub about 10 years ago and the lady who poured my drink obviously bit her nails.

I asked her about it and she, like you, couldn't stop.

I told her to cut her nails really, really short and always carry a nail file with her and every time she wanted to bite one, grind away at it with the nail file till there's nothing left to bite.

Yes you will have very short nails for some time but they would have been short and ugly anyway.

After some time (some say three weeks to break a habit) the need to bite your nails will dissipate.

Anyway the girl saw the friend I was drinking with many months later - he passed on her message that she hadn't bitten her nails for months and they looked quite nice now.

Try it out.

It's like anything - YOU have to be ready to stop.

Good luck. :)
No but I crack my knuckles all the damn time. I am going to have really bad arthritis some day.
I don't. my nails are really healthy and too hard to bite, plus they're always so pretty I'd hate to ruin them.

I'd suggest always having pretty nailpolish or a manicure. or try one of those nailpolishes that makes nails stronger, that way you won't be able to bite them.
Yes %26amp; I love it LOL
I had acrylic nails put on, and maintained them for years to lose the habit of biting my nails. You put that kind of money into your nails, you don't bite em. And after a few years I had them taken off, and now grow my own very lovely nails.
No, I have better things to do with my fingers. Try getting a manicure. Then think about how much money you'll waste if you don't break your habit.
No, I've never done that. I've heard it's a nervous habit, so maybe you should work on being more at peace and then your nail biting will go away...
