Does jello help cracked, brittle, fingernails? What does help?Does Jello help brittle fingernails?
I've always heard that gelatin makes your nails stronger, for that I always eat it...lol
I have long strong beautiful nails, but I can't say if the jello did it. :)
Try it, it won't hurtDoes Jello help brittle fingernails?
Jello doesn't help yur fingernails, your fingernails only has 2% calcium and that is found in the water you wash your hands in everyday!....nothing can make your nails stronger than it already is.....clear enamel and acrylic/silk wraps/gels may reinforce it but thats about it
Are you in the US or UK?
Are you referring to the gelatine with fruit flavouring which, we in the UK call ';Jelly';?
We were always told, as children, that gelatine strengthened your nails and it was recommended that you eat one cube of pre-prepared ';jelly'; a day.
Medical science may have moved on.
My friend swears by gelatin, she just takes it as a vitamin, and her hair and nails are unbelievable!
nope, it doesn't. its calcium but just because u eat calcium doesn't mean ur fingernails won't get dry.
but hey try soaking them in olive oil.....it makes them hard who they don't crack and they aren't as brittle. plus it moisturizes them. works for me!
