I notice my brother's fingernail sepecailly his tumb turns black at times..he is a multiple mlycoma patient but has recoveredWhy do fingernails turn black?
Black or... BLUE?
If black, sorry, only in the dead.
If blue, it's called cyanosis. And this happens to people with lungs problem who cant have oxygen saturated properly.
Also, extreme temperature, cold, stress, extreme nervous, can cause that also.
Best to see a respiratory doc to rule out medical problems.
